The Storm are 1-2 overall this season and are coming off a 68-52 road loss at St. Mary's (Minn.) on November 15. That came after notching an 83-80 home victory over Hamline University two days earlier. The team is coming off a 17-10 season in 2018-19 and is led again this season by the reigning UMAC Most Valuable Player, Tim Wendel. He has scored over 30 points in each of the last two contests, including 32 in the win over the Pipers. He's shooting 49 percent from the field and is 6-of-17 from long range. Defensively, he's averaging 12.3 boards per game and has eight total blocks. Gunnar Ledin is second on the team in scoring (21.0ppg) while Torry Ledin and Christian Moore are both tied at 10.77pg. Torry Ledin leads the way with seven made three-point buckets. As a team, the Storm are shooting 45 percent from the field overall and are 21-of-61 (.344) from downtown. It has been plagued a bit at the free-throw line, shooting only 68.1 percent (32-of-47) and has turned the ball over 39 times while forcing only 22.
