Ben Specht begins his second year in the athletic trainer at Buena Vista in 2026-27 and the first as the Senior Associate Athletic Trainer.
Specht earned his bachelor of science degree in exercise science from Southwest Minnesota State University and a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from South Dakota State University.
A 2016 graduate of Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn High School in Marcus, Iowa, Specht was a five-sport athlete for the Eagles and also went on to play college football during his time at Southwest Minnesota State.
