Alli Bailey begins her first season as a full-time assistant coach for the women's basketball team in 2026-27 after serving in a volunteer role during part of the 2025-26 campaign.
A native of Kingsley, Iowa and a 2018 graduate of Kingsley-Pierson High School, Bailey is no stranger to the American Rivers Conference. She played her college basketball at the University of Dubuque, and during her fifth-year, she started all 25 games in which she played and averaged 9.2ppg and 5.2rpg. Following the season, she was named an Honorable Mention All-Conference selection.
As a junior in 2019-20, she averaged 10.1ppg and shot better than 50 percent from the field. She led the Spartans in scoring in four different games that season.Â
During her prep career at K-P, Bailey was a 5x letterwinner in softball and a 4x letterwinner in both volleyball and basketball.
Bailey's father, Scott, is a 1992 graduate of Buena Vista and was a stand-out athlete on the football field. In 2007, he was inducted into the BVU Athletics Hall of Fame and remains the school record holder in career rushing yards.
