Cameron Ruppe joins the Beaver cross country and track & field coaching staff in the fall of 2018 and is now coming into his second season in 2019.

Ruppe comes to BVU after having served as an assistant cross country and track & field coach at Rock Hill High School in Rock Hill, S.C., from February of 2015.  During that tenure, he was a part of four team regional championships, guided eight all-state performances, three state runners-up and eight individuals who earned collegiate scholarships.

He competed as both a cross country and track & field student-athlete, himself, at the collegiate level, competing for four years at Winthrop University where he placed fourth in the steeplechase at the 2017 Big South Conference Championships after a seventh-place finish in 2015.

Ruppe earned a bachelor of science degree in Special Education in May of 2018.  He was also a member of the Dean's List for six semesters.
