About Troy: Is the son of Rich and Kathy Ticknor...has one sister, Megan.

High School Highlights: He lettered four years in basketball where he was a four-year all-conference selection and a three-time All-State performer, including First Team honors as a senior. Aside from basketball, he was a four-time letterwinner and three-time all-conference golfer for the Tigers. He lettered three years in football where he was a two-time All-District selection, was a Second Team All-State player as a senior, as well as a Shrine Bowl Football Captain.

College Highlights: Is a three-time letterwinner for the Beavers. Troy led the team in scoring during his first season with the team in 2009-10 and also made a team-leading 63 three-point buckets. He had four 20-point games on the year, including a career-high 23 points, including 7-of-12 from downtown, at Wartburg College on January 16. He later matched that total at home against Loras College on February 6. After coming off the bench in the first 15 games of the year, he started the final 11. In 2010-11, Troy scored in double figures in 17 of the 26 games, while posting a new career-high 24 points, on 6-of-10 shooting from long range, versus Aurora on November 20. For the year, he was third on the team in scoring, while again leading the way in three-point shooting. Following the year, he was named a Second Team All-Conference selection. He then sat out the 2011-12 after suffering a season-ending knee injury just days into the start of practice. He''ll enter the 2012-13 campaign ranked 13th all-time in three-point buckets and 10th in three-point field goal percentage. Off the court, Troy has been a volunteer with the BV Buddies organization as a mentor for middle school students at the Storm Lake Middle School.
