About Lexie: Is the daughter of Angel Melgoza and Monica Melgoza...has three brothers, Tristan, Christian and Drayden Melgoza, as well as one sister, Ashley Moreno.

High School Highlights: Was a four-year letterwinner in basketball for the Rams where she served as a team captain her senior season. In addition to basketball, she lettered two years in softball (2009 & 2011).

College Highlights:
2014-15: Lexie appeared in 21 games, primarily off the bench, and averaged 10.1 minutes per contest.  She finished the season averaging 1.6ppg to go along with her 24 assists and 14 steals.  Her seven points in the season opener against Martin Luther matched her career-high from last season.  She also dished out a career-best six assists during a win against Macalester.

2013-14:  Again saw time with both the junior varsity and varsity teams.  She came off the bench in 18 games at the varsity level and averaged 9.2 minutes per contest.  She finished the year scoring 35 points, including 32 during IIAC play.  She turned in a career-best seven points in 16 minutes of play at Central College on February 12.

2012-13: She played primarily as a member of the junior varsity team during her freshman season.  She did appear in five varsity games and averaged 2.6 minutes per outing.  She made her collegiate debut against Northland on November 23 and scored her first two points during a win against Crown College (Minn.) on December 1.
