Vanessa Hamlett begins her third season as assistant coach in 2025-26.
Hamlett transitioned to the sidelines after a four-year playing career for the Beavers. In 75 career games, Hamlett averaged 7.0ppg and 5.5rpg. Her best season came as a junior where she averaged 11.1ppg and 8.9rpg. She was a career 47.7 percent shooter from the field and made 149 career free-throws.
A native of Aurora, Iowa, Hamlett played her prep career at Starmont High School where she was a 3x All-Conference performer and a member of the 1A and 2A All-Star Team as a senior.
Hamlett graduated from BVU in 2023 with a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
