Emerson Else begins her third season as an assistant coach in 2025-26.
Else, a 2023 graduate of BVU, was a four-year member of the women's basketball team, but had her career plagued by injuries. She played in over 40 games, averaging 2.0ppg and 1.1rpg.
A native of Holstein, Iowa, Else played her prep career at Ridge View High School where she was a 2x Honorable Mention All-Conference selection and was named the Raptors' Team MVP. She was a 3x state qualifier in track & field and a 3x All-Conference selection in softball.
Else graduated from Buena Vista with a degree in Kinesiology.
