About Tyler: Is the son of Michael and Debra Kastantin. His father played football at Indian Hills CC.

High School Highlights: He was a three-time letterwinner on the court for the Mustangs where he earned First Team All-Conference and Third Team All-State honors as a senior in 2010-11. In addition to basketball, he lettered twice in football and four years in track and field. Aside from athletics, he was listed on the Honor Roll in each of his eight semesters.

College Highlights:
2014-15: Tyler played in all 26 games off the bench and averaged 4.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per contest, while averaging nearly 17.0 minutes per game.  He turned in a season-high 13 points on three three-point buckets in an overtime win versus Delaware Valley.  He made a season-high four three-point baskets a few games earlier against Bethel while finishing with 12 points.  Following the year, he was named to the Academic All-IIAC Team.

2013-14: Played in all 27 games for the Beavers, including 16 starts.  He ranked fifth on the team with a 49.6 percent field goal percentage for the year.  He averaged just over 6.0 points per game and made a career-best six three-pointers in a game at Central College on February 12 en route to his career-best point total of 20.

2012-13: Continued to see the majority of his playing time with the junior varsity team.  Appeared in two games off the bench for the varsity, scoring a career-best six points on 3-of-6 shooting against Crown College on December 1.

2011-12: Tyler saw most of his playing time as a freshman with the junior varsity team. He did appear in a pair of varsity contests off the bench, making his collegiate debut at home against Crown College on December 3 when he went 1-of-2 at the free-throw line during three minutes of play to score his first collegiate points.
