About Robby: Is the son of Mike and Cindy...his father played collegiate golf at Iowa Central Community College...has one sister, Megan.
High School Highlights: He was a three-year varsity letterwinner for the Gaels where he went on to earn First Team All-Conference as a junior and senior. In addition, he was a Third Team All-State selection following his junior campaign before earning First Team All-State accolades as a senior.
As a senior, he averaged 22.1ppg which ranked 21st in the state in all classes, while shooting a blistering 67.7 percent from the field. Defensively, he ranked seventh in all classes, averaging 12.6 rebounds per contest, including 102 on the offensive end.
In addition to basketball, he lettered as a senior in football and was a Second Team All-District selection. He also lettered as a freshman in soccer.
Aside from athletics, he earned Academic All-Conference accolades during his career.
College Highlights:
2015-16: He would appear in all 27 games for the Beavers. He averaged 12.8 minutes per game and would rank 5th in free throw percentage on the team with 75.5%. Against Nebraska Wesleyan to open the season he would score 13 points with 9 rebounds and a steal and a block to go along with.
2014-15: He saw most of his playing time as a member of the junior varsity team. He did appear in five varsity contests off the bench, totaling 10 minutes. He made his collegiate debut against Martin Luther and made 2-of-3 from the field and 1-of-2 at the free-throw line for a career-high five points. He finished the year with 11 points while going 4-of-5 from the field and 3-of-4 at the charity stripe. Defensively, he grabbed five total rebounds.
