About Grant: Is the son of Bill and Maribeth...his father played collegiate tennis at Simpson...he has one brother, Jackson, as well as one sister, Kennedi.
High School Highlights: He was a three-time varsity letterwinner for the Warriors where he served as a team captain during his senior campaign. He was a three-time all-conference performer, including First Team honors as a senior.
As a senior, he turned in 13.6ppg, while shooting nearly 57 percent from the field (95-of-168) and 77 percent from the charity stripe. He ranked among the state leaders in assists (121), to go along with 31 steals.
In addition to basketball, he earned four varsity letters in tennis.
Aside from athletics, he earned Academic All-State honors in basketball and was academic all-conference for all for years in both basketball and tennis.
College Highlights:
2017-18: Wright appeared in all 26 games this season while starting in 1 game. He scored 1.2 points per game while playing an average of 9.5 minutes. He shot 54% from the field and scored a season high 7 points in his lone start againsts Greenville on November the 25th.
2015-16: He appeared in 11 games at the varsity level this season where he averaged 3.3 minutes per game. Most of his playing time came at the junior varsity level.
2014-15: Grant played on the junior varsity team throughout his freshman season.
