About Tyler: Is the son of Duane and Deanna...has four brothers, Chris, Brad, Adam and Jordan.
High School Highlights: He earned varsity letters from his sophomore thru his senior seasons while playing for the Eagles. As a senior in 2014, he was named a Third Team All-North Central Conference selection.
In addition to baseball, he lettered twice in both football and track. During his career on the gridiron, he was tabbed as a Second Team All-District performer after his senior campaign. In track, he placed fourth in the discus throw at the conference meet his senior season.
Aside from athletics, he was listed on the Honor Roll all four years and named Academic All-District.
College Highlights:
2018: Appeared in five games this year, earning one start and a win loss record of 0-1.
2017: Appeared in seven games primarily out of the bullpen...Pitched 0.2 perfect innings in his collegiate debut against Fontbonne on February 25...Made his first career start when he took the mound against Oberlin on March 22 and pitching 4.0 innings, allowing five runs and striking out two during BVU''s 8-2 loss.
2016: Played on the junior varsity team as a sophomore.
2015: Played on the junior varsity team as a freshman.
