College Highlights:
2015: He started all 41 games at first base and was the team''s leading hitter at .367.  He was second with 55 hits, including eight doubles, two triples and two home runs, while tying for third with 25 RBI.  He also scored 21 times.  Overall, he tallied 16 multi-hit games and had three games with at least three hits.  Defensively, he made just seven errors in 382 total chances.  He turned in a career-high four hits, including two doubles, in five at-bats during a win against Aurora on March 20 before following it up the following day in a win against Wheaton by going 4-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored.  In his final career home game, he went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored in a win over Luther.  During IIAC play, he ranked ninth overall in the league with a .350 average and had six doubles, two home runs and 17 RBI.

2014: Played in 17 games and had 13 starts.  Totaled 50 at-bats and hit .300 with five doubles, one triple and eight RBI, while also scoring eight times.  He recorded his first career hit by going 1-for-4 in a win against nationally-ranked St. Scholastica on March 1.  Hirst first career extra-base hit came at Nebraska Wesleyan on March 15 when he also drove in his first run.  Posted a career-high two RBI and two runs scored during a win at Simpson on April 12 and had a career-best three hits, including two doubles, in a win against Dubuque on April 19.

2013: Played as a member of the junior varsity team as a sophomore.

2012: Played as a member of the junior varsity team as a freshman.
