About Devon: Devon is the son of Larry and Betty Harms... and the brother of Cody and Lynzi Harms.
High School Highlights: Devon was a three time letter winner in high school as a sophmore, junior, and senior. Devon was 1st Team All Conference his junior and senior season along with being 2nd Team All District. He was 1st Team All CIML his junior season, and his senior season he was a captian and the Most Valuable Players.
College Highlights:
2017: Served as the team''s primary starting catcher...Posted a .957 fielding percentage with over 200 total chances...Threw out nine attempted base stealers...Turned in a season-high three hits during the middle game of a three-game IIAC series against Luther.
2016: Appeared in 35 games while starting 33 of those. Devon moved into the starting catcher role and excelled with a .991 fielding percentage on 227 chances. Had a career high in batting average and finished the year with 5 hits in the teams final 4 games.
2015: He started all 19 games in which he appeared in, primarily at catcher. He hit .191 overall in 47 official plate appearances. He finished with one double and one RBI while scoring eight times. Defensively, he also threw out 5-of-8 attempted base stealers. Picked up his first hit of the year when he went 1-for-4 during an 8-4 loss at Dubuque on March 27. He recorded a career-best two hits and scored a run in BVU''s 8-6 loss at Central on April 11.
2014: He played in 24 games as a freshman and made 16 starts. He posted seven hits on the year, including two doubles, to go along with four RBI. He went 1-for-3 with a run scored in his collegiate debut as BVU picked up an 8-7 victory over UW-La Crosse on Feburuary 28. He then recorded his first career extra-base hit with a double during a 1-for-4 game against Nebraska Wesleyan on March 15.
