About Cale: Is the son of Doug Ewald and Donna Merten...his father played collegiate baseball at BVU...has one brother, Dane.

2017: Appeared in 13 games and made seven starts...Had nine hits in 27 at-bats (.333) and also drove in 12...Went 4-for-4 with a pair of home runs and five RBI in game two of the team''s home opening doubleheader against Carleton College on April 9.

2016: Appeared in 9 games and made his first collegiate start in the team''s season opener at Webster Univetrsity...Picked up his first career hit against George Fox on March 19th. 

2015: Played as a member of the junior varsity team as a sophomore.

2014: Played as a member of the junior varsity team as a freshman.
