About Bryce: Bryce is the son of Terry and Tarri Wessel... also brother of current BVU baseball player Brandon Wessels.
High School Highlights: Bryce was a two time Academic All Conference winner and lettered in three different sports; five times in baseball, and three times each in basketball and track. In baseball Bryce was 1st Team All Conference three times, along with 2nd Team All State, and 1st Team All District, and 2nd Team All Conference and All District throught his high school prep career.
College Highlights:
2015: He played in and started 41 games, finishing the year as the team''s starting second baseman. He was fifth on the team with a .308 average and was fourth with 45 hits. He was second in home runs (3) and RBI (26). He went 4-for-5 with a double and two RBI in the season-opener against Cornell College on March 8. He also went 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored at Coe College on March 31. He had a career-high seven-game hitting streak that ran from March 31 at Coe College until April 10 at Central College. During that stretch, he went a combined 11-for-25 with a triple and home run and five RBI. He turned in a career-high three doubles against Simpson College on April 17. Following the year, he was voted a First Team All-IIAC selection after hitting .317 with five doubles, two home runs, 14 RBI and 13 runs scored against league opponents.
2014: Played in 39 games, including 33 starts, as a freshman where he hit .291 overall in 127 at-bats. His 11 doubles tied for third on the team and his 26 RBI were sixth-most. He went 1-for-3 in his collegiate debut against St. Thomas on February 28. Turned in his first career multi-hit game against Gustavus Adolphus on March 23 when he went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBI and a run scored. Registered a career-best three hits in his next game against Carthage when he went 3-for-6 with a double, two RBI and a run scored.
