About Jackson: Son of Christy and Jason Smith...He has two brothers, Morgan and Walker. 

College Highlights:
2022: Started 7 games...hit .310 in 29 at bats...hit walkoff vs Luther in the conference tournament.

2021: Appeared in 14 games overall and made seven starts...his season debut came against Westminster on February 27...made his first career start at Loras in game two of a doubleheader on March 28...had six hits in 27 at-bats for the year...his first career hit and RBI came against Simpson on March 21...turned in a career-high two hits and scored a run against Coe on April 3...hit his first career home run during a 3-1 victory over top-ranked Wash U on April 24.

2020: Did not appear in any of the team's first seven varsity games before the remainder of the season was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2019: Was a member of the JV team.
