PELLA, Iowa (Sept. 15, 2026) - The Buena Vista women's tennis team was aiming for back-to-back wins to begin A-R-C play as it traveled to Central College on Tuesday night, but the Dutch spoiled those efforts with a 7-0 victory.
The match was forced indoors due to weather conditions. The Dutch came out and earned the doubles point after allowing only one combined point in those three matches.
It ended up being all Central in singles play as well with the Dutch winning all six matches in straight sets and allowing only three points in any set just once.
Buena Vista is now 1-3 (1-1 A-R-C) and will host Loras College on Friday, Sept. 18 at 4 p.m. and then the University of Dubuque on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 10 a.m.
