ORANGE CITY, Iowa (Apr. 18, 2026) - The Buena Vista men's outdoor track & field team continued its schedule at the Red Raider Open on Friday. 

Senior Easton Hays qualified into the 100-meter dash with the fastest time of 10.90 meters. He would go on to place second at 10.96 seconds with teammate Bryce Moquin right behind in third in a time of 11.01. The two were also among the leaders in the 200-meter dash with Moquin placing fourth (24.51) and Hays in eighth (25.35).

Carter Braun capped off the top sprint finishers with an eighth-place finish in the 400-meter dash in a time of 54.43 and only a second out of the top-5.

Freshman Corbin Webster ran a personal best in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and came in fourth overall.

In the field events, Hays was eighth in the long jump with a leap of 6.29 meters. Freshman Kaden Zweibahmer placed fifth at 6.45 meters. Zweibahmer also turned in a fourth-place effort in the triple jump.

Nick Walch placed sixth in the pole vault at 4.20 meters.
