FORT DODGE, Iowa (Apr. 12, 2026) - The Buena Vista women's golf team took part in the 36-hole Iowa Central Spring Invite on Friday and Saturday and turned in rounds of 341 and 339 to place fourth overall among the seven teams in the field.

Riley Haschke helped lead the charge with rounds of 79 and 82 and finished fifth overall and just one stroke back of third. After a bogey on her opening hole on Saturday she bounced right back with a big eagle on the par-4 sixth hole and remained one-under for the round over her first five holes. She would go on to post her second birdie of the tournament on her 17th hole of the day.

Brooke Stellmaker and Ella Whited each carded the next lowest rounds for BVU on the final day with a pair of 85's while Noelle Hamand was close behind with an 87. Stellmaker placed 15th overall with Hamand right behind in 17th. Whited would climb up the board and finished 28th.

Joie Christensen also eagled the par-4 sixth hole but hers came on Friday which was her third hole of the day. She would go on to place 24th overall.

Simpson (659) claimed the overall team title by holding off Briar Cliff by two shots and Loras by three strokes.

The Beavers will wrap up their spring season on Wednesday, Apr. 15 at the Simpson College Spring Invite in Indianola, Iowa.
