DUBUQUE, Iowa (Apr. 10, 2026) - The Buena Vista men's tennis team was on the road Friday for a pair of American Rivers Conference matches but would be handed a 7-0 loss at Loras College to begin the day before falling 6-1 at the University of Dubuque.

Jeb Bathrick picked up the lone win on the day for the Beavers with a thrilling three-set tiebreaker. He dropped the opening set 6-3 and then bounced back with a 7-5 win in the second and then taking the match with a narrow 11-9 victory in the tiebreaker.

Buena Vista is now 5-10 on the year (1-5 A-R-C) and is in action next when it travels to Pella on Tuesday, Apr. 22, for an A-R-C match at Central College starting at 4 p.m.
