OLIVET, Mich. (March 29, 2026) - The Buena Vista STUNT team finished 2-2 overall at the Mid America Central Conference Tournament over the weekend and placed second overall as a team.

After splitting a pair of matches on Saturday, BVU advanced into Saturday and would begin with a thrilling 8-7 overtime victory over the University of Olivet. It was the third time this season that the two teams have squared off and the second time in as many days. Olivet held a 5-2 advantage at halftime before the Beavers used a big third quarter where it shutout the host school 3-0. The two teams then each scored two points in the team routines during the fourth quarter to force overtime. The Beavers prevailed in the extra routine by earning the point and winning 8-7.

The victory advanced the team on to again face Saint Mary's College (Ind.) for the second straight day and the third time this season. BVU just didn't have enough and would fall by a score of 16-0.

Buena Vista closes out its regular season with an overall record of 6-7 and sets a school record for wins in a season. The previous high was four set back in the program's first season in 2023.
