DUBUQUE, Iowa (Feb. 7, 2026) - The Buena Vista men's indoor track & field was back in action on Saturday at the Spartan Shootout, hosted by the University of Dubuque, and had multiple high placings and more personal best marks set.

Senior Easton Hayes had a strong race in the 60-meter dash and came in third overall at 7.14 seconds which was 0.04 seconds off his personal best mark. He later took ninth in the 200-meter dash with a clocking of 23.39 and was only 0.01 seconds off his all-time best.

Corbin Webster improved on his mile run time by two seconds and set a new personal mark at 4:50.14.

The Beavers took second in the 4x400 relay which conssited of Hays, Bryce Moquin, Jackson Mulkins and Zach Thompson. The team reached the finish line in 3:36.6.

Buena Vista continues its schedule next weekend at the Darren Young Classic, hosted by Grinnell College.
