DECORAH, Iowa (Feb. 28, 2026) - The Buena Vista indoor track & field team wrapped up the American Rivers Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday afternoon. The Beavers finished ninth overall as a team, but the young squad came away with additional best times.

Senior Easton Hayes set a new personal best time of 23.37 in what was a crowded 200m field. He came in 21st overall but only one second from an all-conference performance. Freshman Bryce Moquin was right behind  Hayes at 33.61.

Senior Haydn Piskorski and freshman Corbin Webster both set new personal bests in the 3000-meter run with Piskorski also doing the same in the 5000-meter.

Wartburg College tallies 199 total points and takes home the team title with Central College (115pts) coming in as runner-up.

The championships conclude BVU's indoor season. Next up for the Beavers will be the start of the outdoor season at the Central College Invite on March 27-28.
