Rocket League comes in first in MVEC Preseason Poll

56 points with two first place votes

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Beavers Rocket League squad earned the top spot in this years Midwest Valley Esports Conference preseason poll earning 56 points with two first place votes. St. Ambrose is close behind with 54 points and four first place votes. St. Ambrose is in their first season with MVEC.

The Beavers went undefeated last season in MVEC winning the regular season title. They will hope to replace MVP Skyler Keller and Second Team All-Conference selection Ryan Webb. Freshman Ashton Richey and James Cheney will look to fill those roles. 

Cornell College and Illinois College come in tied for 3rd with 47 points while Wartburg comes in 5th with 36 points. Jamestown, Morningside and Gustavus Adolphus come in 6th, 7th and 8th respectively.
