STORM LAKE, Iowa (May 8, 2025) - The Buena Vista University baseball team begins its quest for an American Rivers Conference Tournament championship on Thursday afternoon as the 2025 A-R-C Baseball Tournament kicks off inside of Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
BVU is the No. 1 seed among this year's six-team field after securing its 19th regular season conference title last weekend. It's the fifth regular season crown under 25th-year head coach
Steve Eddie and the 17th straight conference tournament berth for the Beavers.
The Beavers, who are 8-4 all-time in the tournament as the top-seed, earned a first round bye and will play at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, against the winner of No. 4 Wartburg College and No. 5 seed Simpson College.

The winner of the double-elimination tournament receives the American Rivers Conference's automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Division III Baseball Championships. The Regional round takes place May 16-18 followed by the 16-team Super Regional round the following weekend (May 23-24). Eight teams will emerge from the Super Regional round to take the field at Classic Park in Eastlake, Ohio for the NCAA Division III Baseball Championships May 30 - June 5. The North Coast Athletic Conference and Greater Cleveland Sports Commission will host the Division III College World Series in 2025 and 2026.
