He finished his final campaign this year by leading the region in doubles (26) and doubles per game (0.58) and ranked eighth in runs (58). He hit .371 overall which was second in the conference and recorded 66 hits to break the BVU all-time record with 244.
Eddie, who was named the 2025 A-R-C Pitcher of the Year, is earning all-region recognition for the first time in his career. He finished 16th in the region in overall ERA (3.03), and tied for the lead in games started (13), was second in total strikeouts (93), tied for second in wins (9) and ranked ninth in strikeout-to-walk ratio (5.17). His 93 total strikeouts also placed him second on the program's single-season list and his nine wins also tied him for second.
Smith becomes a 2x D3baseball.com All-Region selection (2023 Third Team) and 2x ABCA/Rawling selection (2023 Second Team). He tied for third in the region with his eight wins this season and finished seventh in total strikeouts (83). He became the program's all-time wins leader with his victory in the NCAA DIII Regional Tournament, picking up his 25th career triumph. For the year, he tossed 90.2 innings with an ERA of 2.58.
Garcia is now a 2x D3baseball.com selection (2024 Second Team). He finished the year hitting .343 overall with 62 hits, 43 runs, seven home runs and 40 RBI. He also walked 28 times and set the program's all-time career record and also posted five sacrifice flies to also become the career leader in that category as well. His 242 career hits pushes him into second-place all-time.
BVU was the only A-R-C team this season with multiple players to earn recognition on both teams.
