Kaden Struck Named A-R-C Baseball Position Player of the Week

STORM LAKE, Iowa (Apr. 7, 2025) - Buena Vista freshman baseball player Kaden Struck has been named the American Rivers Conference Baseball Position Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday for the period ending on Apr. 6

Struck had himself a career week at the plater for the Beavers as they went 4-0 overall, including a series sweep of Loras College.

For the week, the first baseman batted .571 at the plate (8-for-14) with six RBI and three runs scored. He also extended his current overall hitting streak to 13 games.

During game one of Saturday's doubleheader at Loras, Struck registered a career-high four hits (4-for-5) with a two-run single in the third that put the Beavers in front 4-0.

Struck is leading both the team and A-R-C in batting average this season at .448 and has tallied a total of 30 hits.

The Omaha, Neb., native is the third BVU position player to earn such honors this season. This is his first career honor.

Buena Vista is currently alone atop the A-R-C standings at 18-5 overall and 10-1 in conference play. The Beavers will host Central College in a doubleheader on Tuesday, Apr. 8, starting at 3:30 p.m.
