FOREST CITY, Iowa (Nov. 8, 2025) - The Buena Vista women's wrestling team was back in action on Saturday at the Waldorf University Open and had a pair of individuals earn sixth-place finishes to help highlight the day.

Jaiden McLaren competed at 131 in the freshman/sophomore bracket and took sixth which was higlighted by a 59 second fall in her quarterfinal match. Alannah Peterson was part of the 235 freshman/sophomore bracket and began her day with a strong 3-0 decision.

Fellow first-year wrestlers Kinalisa Lokot also picked up a technical fall victory on the day for BVU which had seven different indivuduals take part.

Next up for Buena Vista will be the Luther College Open next Saturday, Nov. 15, in Decorah, Iowa, starting at 9 a.m.
