Simpson Edges Women's Soccer 3-1

STORM LAKE, Iowa (Oct. 18, 2025) - The Buena Vista women's soccer team continued its homestand on Saturday evening by hosting Simpson College in American Rivers Conference play, but the Beavers would come up short against the Storm in a 3-1 loss inside of J. Leslie Rollins Stadium.

Simpson held a 17-2 cushion in shots over the first half of played and scored a pair of late goals to lead 2-0 at the break.

Buena Vista cut the deficit in half 13 minutes into the second period on an OWN GOAL. The Beavers were unable to get a shot attempt off in the second half while the Storm added an insurance goal late in the 75'.
