STORM LAKE, Iowa (Jan. 7, 2025) - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2024 Football Academic All-District Teams and Buena Vista had a pair of players represented with senior Eman Alaniz and junior Dolan Pospichal.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in both academic and athletic standing and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.0 scale. The student-athlete must also appear in at least 90 percent of the teams matches played for the year or have started at least 66 percent of them. A maximum of eight eligible individuals could be nominated by their institution's Director of Athletic Communications.

Alaniz and Pospichal both earn the recognition for the first time in their respective careers. Both individuals were named to the 2024 A-R-C Fall Academic All-Conference Team with Alaniz also landing Second Team All-Conference accolades.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
