Schroeder made her home debut on Saturday, and did so in record-breaking fashion. The 2024 Remsen St. Mary's High School graduate took home gold in the 60m hurdles with a new school and meet record time of 8.93 seconds. It bettered the previous school record of 8.98 seconds set back in 2017 by Madison Spear. The previous meet record was 9.07 seconds set back in 2020. Schroeder's time ranked #10 in NCAA DIII this season and is the fastest clocking to this point in the A-R-C.
Earlier in the morning, Schroeder went on to place second in the long jump with a new personal best leap of 4.88m (16-0.25). She capped her day with a third-place finish in the 200m dash in a time of 27.4.0. The long jump mark is currently just inside the top-15 of the A-R-C while the 200-meter time is ninth.
