STORM LAKE, Iowa (Sept. 7, 2024) - The Buena Vista University women's tennis team remained at home on Saturday afternoon to host Nebraska Wesleyan in an American Rivers Conference match but the Prairie Wolves left with a 7-0 victory.

NWU took all three doubles matches as BVU was held to only two total points scored. The Prairie Wolves only allowed the Beavers to reach two points just twice during singles play as they won all six matches in straight sets.

Buena Vista drops to 0-5 (0-2 A-R-C) on the year while Nebraska Wesleyan improves to 1-1 (1-1 A-R-C) with the win.

The Beavers will step out of league play on Friday, Sept. 13, to play a non-conference road match at Northwestern College (IA) in Orange City. Start time for that match is set for 4 p.m.
