MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (05/24/24) - Buena Vista senior Kyle Miller ran a 1:52.54 on Friday evening during the prelims of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships and placed 14th overall while missing out on the finals by only 0.4 of a second.

The University of Dubuque's Andrew Hutchinson captured the final qualifying time of 1:52.19 while there was only 1.8 seconds separated the top-8 qualifying marks. A total of 22 individuals took part in the event which was separated by less than two seconds on the NCAA-qualifying times.

The finals of the race are scheduled for 6 p.m. EST on Saturday.
