STORM LAKE, Iowa (Oct. 4, 2024) - The Buena Vista University women's tennis team returned home on Friday afternoon to begin its final regular season homestand with an American Rivers Conference match against Loras College. The Duhawks (5-7, 2-5 A-R-C) went on to pick up the 7-0 victory.

BVU fell in all three doubles matches by identical 6-1 scores before the Duhawks kept strong in singles play winning all six in straight sets. Taylor Fritz played tough at No. 3 doubles despite a pair of 6-2 setbacks. Haley Meseck was edged 6-2 in the opening set of her No. 2 singles contest before falling 6-0 to close the match.

Buena Vista is 0-11 overall (0-7 A-R-C) and wraps up the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 5, by hosting the University of Dubuque at 10 a.m. on Buntrock Tennis Courts.
