STORM LAKE, Iowa (Sept. 30, 2023) - The Buena Vista women's soccer team continued Family Weekend on Saturday evening by hosting Luther College, but despite keeping things scoreless after the first half, the Beavers would go onto fall to the Norse, 4-0.

Luther broke the scoreless match less than a minute into the second 45 minutes of play before doubling the margin five minutes later. The Norse, who held BVU without a single shot attempt in the second half, added two more goals over a two-minute stretch later in the half for the 4-0 win.

The Norse (4-3-4, 1-0-1 A-R-C) held a 22-1 advantage in total shots for the contest while BVU goalkeeper Trisha Westphal did post four saves.

Buena Vista drops to 3-6 on the year (0-2 A-R-C) and travels to Central College on Oct. 4 for a 3:30 p.m. contest against the Dutch.
