“Our opponents today were just too good,” said BVU head coach Dan Taylor. “Wartburg is a very experienced team with a lot of power and solid tactics. In doubles, we had a lot of trouble handling their poaching and aggressive net game. And in singles, most of their players were executing aggressive offense and kept us on our heels."
“We wish the scoreline were different, of course, but matches against tough players like this help us grow and get better” Taylor adds. "We'll keep working in practice the next several days and will look ahead to three more home matches in a row before finishing the season on the road.”
