Senior Rachel Brockney helped lead the charge in the opener against Illinois Wesleyan with 17 kills and 22 digs en route to her first double-double of the year. She also had a season-best .412 attack percentage on 34 total attempts. Senior Skylar Cole followed with 10 kills, Molly McCauley and Kyla Vaughn each had seven with McCauley also chipping in with 12 digs.
Freshman Jilly Janssen dished out 33 assists and tallied five digs with senior Molly Bense adding 17 digs.
BVU took the opening set 25-20 while taking advantage of 13 attack errors by the Titans. IWU would bounce back to clip the Beavers, 25-20, in the second set before the Beavers held of the Titans in the final two by scores of 25-20 and 25-19.
