INDIANOLA, Iowa (Feb. 8, 2023) -
Jenna Hallock came off the bench and scored a career-high 10 points with

Hallock made 4-of-5 shots from the field as well as both free-throw attempts to reach double digits for the first time in her collegiate career. Her previous career-best was six points which was last reached against Wartburg on January 14. Anhalt led the Beavers with 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting while also hauling in seven rebounds. Cone followed with 13 points, including a pair of three-point baskets.
Addison Weber nailed a season-best three shots from long distance and just missed out on double figures with nine points off the bench.

She now has 95 assists on the year which moves her past Becca Pennington (2015-16) for 12th on the program's single-season list and is six away from a spot in the top-10.
BVU finished the game shooting 43 percent from the field and made a season-high nine three-point shots but was hindered by 28 turnovers. Simpson turned it over only eight times, and the Storm held a wide margin in points off turnovers at 32-11.
The Beavers trailed 21-19 after the first quarter before Simpson began pulling away in the second to build an 11-point margin (51-40) at the half. Cone made one of her two three-point treys to begin the second half and cut the deficit to eight but the Storm made three straight long range buckets to make it a 15-point cushion at 60-45 with 8:00 remaining in the third quarter. Both teams then went scoreless over the next two minutes before a layup from Anhalt kept BVU within striking distance. The Beavers, however, then went the next four minutes without scoring while Simpson opened up a 72-47 cushion. The Storm led 74-54 at the end of the third and by as many as 32 in the fourth.
