INDIANOLA, Iowa (Feb. 19, 2023) - The Buena Vista University Cheer & Dance Teams took part in the annual American Rivers Conference Cheer & Dance Championships, hosted this year by Simspon College. The Beavers also had a pair of individuals named to the All-Conference Team.

BVU finished fifth overall as a Dance Team, taking fourth in Pom, fifth in Jazz and sixth in Hip Hop. Freshman Kenna Kassel was named to the First Team All-Conference Team while teammate Libby Birdsell landed a sppt on the Second Team.

The team will be right back in action next weekend when they compete at the WOW Factor competition at Minneapolis, Minn., on Feb. 23-25.
