Box Score CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Oct. 15, 2022) - Coe College scored three first half goals and that was all the Kohawks needed as they defeated the Buena Vista men's soccer team on Saturday night, 3-0, in an American Rivers Conference match-up.

Coe scored twice in the first eight minutes of play and added the final score in the final 90 seconds of the opening half for a 3-0 halftime lead.

The Kohawks finished with six shots in each half while BVU was held without an attempt.

Isaiah Thomas went the distance in-goal was recorded four saves.

Buena Vista is now 0-12-2 (0-5 A-R-C) while Coe improves to 2-12-1 (1-5 A-R-C).

The Beavers will return to action next week for a pair of home matches beginning with an October 19 match-up with Central College at 6:30 p.m.
