Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's Soccer Falls at Home to Neb. Wesleyan 6-0

STORM LAKE, Iowa (April 7, 2021) - The Buena Vista women's soccer team was back home inside of J. Leslie Rollins Stadium on Wednesday afternoon, but the Beavers came up short against Nebraska Wesleyan, 6-0, during an American Rivers Conference match-up.

The Prairie Wolves had 28 shots in the opening half and scored a late first half goal to go in front 3-0 at the break.  NWU began the second half with a goal just under three minutes into play for a 4-0 cushion before adding two more goals in the final 15 minutes.

BVU was held to only three shots in the contest with none coming on-goal.  Suzie McDonald and Simone Collins each scored twice to lead the Prairie Wolves, who improved to 2-2 with the win.

McKeely Tjaden went the distance in-goal for the Beavers and registered 19 saves.  

Buena Vista sits at 0-4 on the year (0-4 A-R-C) and continue its home schedule on Saturday afternoon by hosting Loras College at 1:00 p.m.
