STORM LAKE, Iowa (April 10) - The Buena Vista women's soccer team faced a stiff challenge against a strong Loras College team inside of J. Leslie Rollins Stadium on Saturday afternoon, and the Duhawks scored three early goals to take control en route to a 9-0 American Rivers Conference victory.
The Duhawks scored three times over a three-minute period and had a 3-0 lead just 9:15 into the match. They added two more goals in the half and held a 5-0 advantage at the break. BVU was unable to get much going offensively on the day as the Beavers were held without a shot in the contest. Loras scored four additional second-half goals and remained unbeaten this season at 5-0 with only one goal allowed. Emily Perhats helped lead the way with three goals and one assist.
McKeely Tjaden played all 90 minutes in-goal and recorded 23 saves.

Madison Field was honored down on the field as part of Senior Day festivities for BVU.
The Beavers (0-5) head to the University of Dubuque next Saturday afternoon for a 3:30 p.m. match-up before returning home for the final time on April 21 to host Central College at 5:00 p.m.
