DECORAH, Iowa (April 3, 2021) - The Buena Vista women's soccer team dropped to 0-3 on the season after falling on the road to Luther College on Saturday by the score of 8-0.

It was a scoreless match at the midway point of the first half before Luther broke the scoreless tie with a goal during the 26th minute.  The Norse added two more first half goals, including the third with less than two minutes to go before the half.  They then scored three times in the first 10 minutes of the second half to break things open.

Luther finished with 57 total shots in the contest while BVU was held to two .

McKeely Tjaden went the distance in-goal for the Beavers and posted 21 saves.

Buena Vista is set to return home on Wednesday night to host Nebraska Wesleyan in a match that is set to begin at 5:00 p.m.
