STORM LAKE, Iowa (September 25, 2020) - The Buena Vista women's tennis team made its season debut on Friday afternoon, hosting Coe College, but it was the Kohawks who came away with the 9-0 American Rivers Conference victory.

With four freshmen making their collegiate debuts, BVU battled hard throughout the entire match.  Coe (2-2, 2-2 A-R-C) built the early advantage with a pair of 8-2 double victories before taking all six singles match-ups in straight sets.

BVU (0-1, 0-1 A-R-C) will look to keep building as the schedule continues on Sunday afternoon when the Beavers host Loras College at 2:00 p.m.
