Last Time Out
The Beavers had a back-and-forth game against Coe College this past Saturday looking to avoid the season sweep, but the Kohawks used a big 13-0 run to begin the second half and would go onto defeat Buena Vista, 81-72. Senior Timothy Jeffries finished with 17 points to lead BVU with junior Michael Demers adding 13.  Coe had a moe effiencent hand from downtown, making 11-of-29 while BVU was held to 8-of-23.

Series History
The Beavers have a long history with Central College dating back to their first meeting in 1922. The Dutch hold an 81-72 all-time margin but BVU has picked up wins in each of the last two, including a 90-75 victory earlier this season.  The two sides have split the last four overall with BVU holding a 5-1 edge in the last six match-ups played inside Siebens Fieldhouse.

About Central College
The Dutch rank fifth in the league in scoring offense (82.3ppg) but have struggled a bit slowing down opponents, allowing a league-worst 90.6ppg.  Adam Flinn ranks second in the league by turning in 20.5ppg and is fifth in assists per contest at 3.8.  Caden Mauck leads the A-R-C in rebounding at 9.0 per game.  The team has dropped two straight games after notching a home win over Simpson on Feb. 8, that ended a season-long 13-game losing skid.

About Buena Vista
The Beavers have won two of their last three games overall following a season-long three-game losing skid.  The team continues to rank among the top scoring offenses in the league at 87.5ppg overall and has made a league-high 244 three-point shots for the year.  Senior Timothy Jeffries leads the team and sits fourth in the A-R-C in scoring (17.9ppg) with junior Michael Demers climbing the list of league scoring leaders into 13th (14.8).  He's had the hot hand for long distance as of late and is up to 64 makes on the year which is the 10th-highest single season total in program history.  His 2.8 makes per game sits second in the league as he is third at 37.9 percent.  Lincoln Rock leads the conference in steals per game at 2.5 and is among the top-10 in assists (7th at 3.3apg).  BVU has secured a spot into next week's conference tournament after missing out for the first time a season ago.
