DECORAH - It was another solid overall effort by the Buena Vista volleyball team on Friday night as it returned to American Rivers Conference play, but the Beavers ran into a Luther team that also had a strong night, and the Norse (7-18, 2-4 A-R-C) went on to hand BVU a 3-1 loss.

Taylor Caves just missed out on double figures with nine.
As a team, BVU had 58 kills for the match and finished with a .231 hitting percentage, but the Norse was a touch better with 63 kills and a .271 mark.

Taylor Wedemeyer dished out 42 assists and posted 11 digs and pulls within 49 assists of 800 on the year while chalking up her 16th double-double. Senior
Summer Goss turned in a team-leading 18 digs and went over the 500 mark for the year.
Buena Vista is now 11-13 overall and 3-3 in conference play as it turns around and looks to strengthen its conference tournament positioning with a road match at Coe College on Saturday. Start time is set for 4 p.m.
