The Buena Vista women's soccer team fell behind in the opening minute of Friday afternoon's non-conference road match at Concordia-Moorhead, and the Beavers were unable to get much going offensively, as the Cobbers added another late first half goal and two more in the second to win 4-0.

BVU was held to only three total shots in the contest while the Cobbers tallied 19, including 10 on-goal.

Lindsey Miles had the Beavers' lone shot-on-goal attempt, as they would drop their first game of the year.

Rachel Novotny went the distance in-goal and registered four saves.

Buena Vista looks to bounce back on Saturday when they remain at Concordia-Moorhead to play UW-Superior at 2:30pm
