Scouting Simpson
The Storm take the floor winners of four of their last five games overall. The only loss during that stretch was the 11-point loss to BVU last Monday night. Since that setback, the team has bounced back in a big way with a thrilling 101-95 home win over Loras and an 86-80 road win at Wartburg on Saturday. Junior Sam Amsbaugh, this week's IIAC Men's Basketball Performer of the Week, averaged over 20.0ppg and 5.0rpg during the three games last week while shooting 54 percent from the field. The recent stretch comes after the team dipped to 2-4 in the league following four straight losses to begin the month of January.
