Box Score Four of the six Buena Vista starters finished with at least four kills, including junior Ali Grein and junior Jade Schaap, who each led the way with nine.
Schaap had kills on nine of 14 swings for an attack percentage of .500 while sophomore Brooke Runneberg had seven kills on 11 attempts for a .636 percentage.
The Beavers did alot of the damage on the offensive end, holding a 34-10 margin over the Vikings (1-4) in total kills for the match.
Ashley Pelton dished out 15 assists while Summer Goss followed with 11.
Schaap was equally as effective with her serve, tying her own school record with six service aces in a three-set match.
Runneberg was also a force at the net with three block assists as BVU tallied eight total blocks as a team.
Sydnee Donnelli, who was named the Iowa Conference Volleyball Defensive Performer of the Week on Tuesday, led BVU with seven digs, while Maddie Bardole added six.
Buena Vista improves to 3-2 on the year and will return to the court this weekend for the UW-Platteville Tournament. BVU opens play Friday night at 6:00pm against Carleton College.
